We just deployed a bug fix that ensures all pending participants are allowed to contribute when an existing set of contributions is copied from the most recent.
On Monday, May 19 at around 2:47pm EST, our hosting provider was forced to apply an emergency upgrade to our database server. This resulted in some downtime for our customers, but was resolved by 4:45pm EST. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope no one was adversely affected. For more information, our hosting provider left a nice log of the problem and what they did to fix it.
On Friday, May 16 at 8:30am EST, we experienced some unexpected downtime due to a disrupted connection with our database server. This was resolved by 8:50am EST, and everything is now back up and running normally. We are sorry if this caused anyone any issues.
Contribution comments are now highlighted to make them more noticeable for TPAs during processing. Contribution source types are now always sorted in a particular order to make comparison easier and views more consistent. We’d like to thank Wellington 401k for these feature suggestions.
Searching while viewing submitted contributions in TPA mode didn’t work. Now it does.
We just deployed some features and minor bug fixes. TPAs can now search their list of contributions by plan name.
We just added some introductory videos that explain how RetireHQ can help you, the third party administrator. Please take a look!
Assigning your sponsor’s plan a unique subdomain can be tricky, especially the unique part. If possible, we recommend using the company’s existing domain name as the RetireHQ subdomain. For example, if a company is named “Fiberoptic Co,” it might be tempting to give them the subdomain “fiberoptic,” which would map to fiberoptic.retirehq.com; however, their domain name might actually be “fiberco.com.” Here, we instead recommend choosing “fiberco” as the plan subdomain. Making it match their own domain makes it easier for your sponsors to remember and greatly reduces the risk of subdomain collision later.
We just deployed a release where all list views now support pagination so you can page through all of your entries. We also fixed some rare edge-case bugs that affected importing plans and participants while in TPA mode. Fortunately, no one was affected by these bugs, and now, no one will be.
To receive emails when we post a new RetireHQ status update, please enter your email address in the sidebar to the right. Afterwards, you’ll be kept up to date with all the fantastic RetireHQ happenings.
TPAs can now export their list of pending participants in CSV (comma separated) format. We hope this helps improve the workflow of registering new plan participants with external systems. TPAs will now see a new “Export to CSV” action when viewing their list of pending participants.
We just pushed some bug fixes that avoid errors when contributions are processed or when a document is added to a plan that has not yet invited administrators to access it. We also improved the error handling when a sponsor imports people to avoid “unknown” errors when headers are missing.
The intro video will now download faster and fit better in displays using a 1024x768 resolution. Watch it at RetireHQ.com.
